This article’s purpose is to share my views on marketing, digital marketing & personal branding. Why these three areas only and how we can develop this for ourselves. This is a place where I can narrow down my thoughts clearly, as you write, it gets easy to remember, by putting it in front of everybody will help me to grow.

Mainly How, Why, When, What, Where I am going to use this & how you can do it as well.

Well, Marketing starts before creating a product. It is all about sending specific messages to the correct person at the correct timing. When you adapt this skill then your maximum work is taken care of. Customers are more important than marketing.

Build your brand in the customer’s mind & capture the position. Have a unique angle.

Traditional & Digital Marketing:

No matter how technically advanced you are now traditional media i.e T.V, Newspaper, radio still has a vast reach. We can attract a maximum crowd based on regional languages with the help of bond with fondness or affinity.

Digital Marketing is a perfect platform to target tech-savvy people who are in a hurry but hovering over many social media platforms to gather information or in search of many queries answers.

Direct response is another type of marketing to draw attention to a specific action or goal. For example- advertisement with contact numbers, marketing of product & services for brand awareness, sales page with product & purchase outlet.

Use of different social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, Pinterest, etc. for creating brand awareness, lead generation, purchase products, increase reach & many more.

Using a perfect platform where your target audience is maximum active is the main concern. You need to maintain a schedule of your posts. Choose a specific time to post your content. That will help you to increase your reach.

Content should be relevant to the topic, interactive, easy to understand & for each customer.

The basic strategy for social media marketing:

Attract: Add content that can hook your audience, which can relate to them

& add value that they need this specific product or services in their routine.

Engage: Add call to action buttons so the audience will start taking actions that

you want them to take. Interact with the audience directly & one to one

Basis.

Delight: when the audience is actually taken expected action and purchase

The product.

Customers who are visiting your website or proceeding according to the directions, provide them relevant content so they will connect with you & try to give your best services by converting them into your loyal customers.

  • Content Marketing:

Also known as viral marketing.

Simply we can say content marketing is achieving market objectives through content that has a unique approach.

There are various types of content like

  1. Fiction: It includes scripted TV serials/episodic

Example: all TV serials like Naagin, series: Game of Thrones, Friends, big bang theory, how I met your mother, suits, etc.

2. Non-fiction: Reality shows like Indian Idol, Dance India Dance, semi-scripted shows Like Big boss, splitsville, etc are included in non-fiction content.

3. Advertisement: Ads we see on TV of 15,30,60 seconds are examples of advertisement content.

4. Online content: Online content is made up of infographics of specific topics, blogs, e-books, social media content i.e status, hashtags, mentions & any information posted on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.

  • Search Engine Optimization( SEO ):

Rank high on search engines by using top keywords (organic) or by paying for maximum searched keywords (paid).

It is a very important part of content creating and content marketing.

Build links to your page as off-page SEO.

Take the help of google search, google trends, amazon, youtube to create a keyword list regarding your product or service. Select maximum searched words. Use then naturally. Avoid overuse of keywords just to rank high.

Search engines sick quality, not quantity. If your content is relevant, useful for people it will automatically rank high.

  • Email Marketing:

To create awareness about your brand, product, or services or even place

Where a person getting mail must have subscribed for the information.

Don’t be spammy.

Use story or information about your product in your mail.

Take regular feedback if they want to continue with your messages or not.

  • Marketing Automation:

Automizing the process of marketing

Eg- cookies will help you to get data according to your search history

Email marketing

  • Native Marketing:

Local marketing sometimes with the help of social media to complete goals.

  • Online Reputation/Relation Management:

Manage brand personality, maintain a reputation

Media involvement (journalists)

  • Pay per click Marketing:

Someone clicks on your website, you have to pay accordingly.

  • Influencer Marketing:

Influencer marketing is a newly introduced term in digital marketing that plays a major role. Influencers Can be a celebrity or expert in the field.

They have Specific followership. Many brands and companies are leveraging influencers for better reach. It is one of the trustworthy methods to target customers on a mass level. The core of influencer marketing is unique, relevant content. It can also know as personal branding.

  • Affiliate Management:

Use someone’s network to promote your product is affiliate marketing. It also includes guest posting. Sometimes network you use can also get a commission for your work. It can be helpful to get another set of audiences from people with the same or different niches. Your approach should be very formal. Take proper research regarding your interested network, their audience & the style they use.

3C’s :

Creativity: Idea shoot, edit, presentation.

Consistency: Understand your page performance & planning the frequency

accordingly.

Cross-promotion: Shareability partnership, cross-posting, community building

PERSONAL BRANDING:

The process of personal branding involves finding your uniqueness, building your own reputation on things you believe or things you want to share or talk about and want to be known for. It is self-packaging. It is individually based on their experience, expertise, competencies, actions achievements within a community, industry, or marketplace.

People see personal branding as the most important aspect, sometimes it can be played as a bonus card. Even in your resume or in your niche personal branding can be a game-changer for you & your product & services.

Few steps to follow:

  • Check your online footprint
  • Remove controversial, Irrelevant posts
  • Create content that is related to your identity.
  • Make your content your strong asset which can speak for you & maintain it.
  • Monitor result. Change strategy based on results.
  • Grow your network.
  • Grow your online presence.

Effective personal branding builds trust with your audience.

Especially in today’s change in lifestyle, your digital appearance is very important. Update digitally.
